National CineMedia and Spotlight Cinema Networks announced a strategic sales relationship, the Elevate Cinema Network. This collaboration will combine nearly 1,500 premier NCM screens with Spotlight’s existing premier network of more than 1,200 screens to bring Elevate’s network to 2,700 blue chip screens available for cinema advertising through Spotlight. Elevate will provide unprecedented reach and recall to brands targeting the upscale, educated, adult demographic with disposable income.
Cielo and Screenvision Media announced today that they have closed an agreement to move Screenvision Media to 100 percent electronic delivery. The companies have a long-standing partnership that began in 2017. This new agreement takes the relationship a step forward and enables Screenvision to achieve 100 percent electronic delivery of advertising content to exhibitors, significantly saving costs of operations and optimizing resources for the exhibitors.

Amazon’s Alexa team has created an immersive 30-second cinema commercial, designed to reinforce the message that Alexa makes smart homes easier. The commercial begins with a voice-over giving a command to Alexa to dim the lights. To the audience’s surprise, not only do the lights in the film dim, but the theatre lights dim as well.
