Screenvision Announces Long-Term Deal with Eight Exhibitors

Screenvision today announced a new, long-term agreement with its second largest exhibitor partner, Marcus Theatres that will secure 685 additional screens throughout the country including the Chicago, Milwaukee and Minneapolis DMAs. In addition to this agreement, Screenvision recently secured an agreement with Reading International, strengthening a roster of other just announced long-term deals that include Allen Theatres, B&B Theatres, Bow Tie Cinemas, Classic Cinemas, Malco Theatres and Regency Theatres; these deals total over 2,250 screens nationwide, many of which are in top DMAs such as New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. With these eight new contracts, Screenvision’s network has never been more secure, with the average contract length now over nine years.

Screenvision Brings Greyhound, Hobbit Promotion to the Big Screen

Screenvision has collaborated with Greyhound, the largest provider of intercity bus transportation in North America, to bring its latest campaign to moviegoers nationwide this holiday season through a unique programming feature tied to the upcoming feature film The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, a production of New Line Cinema and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures, opening in theatres December 17.

AEG Live, NCM Sign Multi-Year Deal

AEG Live will be bringing music to NCM’s FirstLook pre-show in movie theaters nationwide in a new multi-year deal with National CineMedia, making AEG Live the premiere music supplier to NCM. The deal kicked off in August with ten- and twenty-second features starring international superstars Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull promoting their upcoming 24-city AEG Live-promoted North American concert tour, launching on September 12 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
