Screenvision Media has teamed up with Xbox to announce the national debut of two new cinematics that utilize immersive MX4D technology in select theatres. Xbox's advertisements will support the October 2 launch of open-world racing game Forza Horizon 4 and Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft's gaming membership. They are the first ads to utilize this technology to provide moviegoers a seat shifting, heart racing advertising experience.

Regal Opens ScreenX Theatres in New York, San Francisco

In time for the release of Warner Bros. horror film The Nun, Regal announced today that it’s opening ScreenX locations in New York City and San Francisco. The launch this Thursday will mark the first theatres in each of these cities to feature CJ4DPlex’s ScreenX, the premium, panoramic, 270-degree cinema environment that projects films on three walls of the auditorium. With these openings, ScreenX expands its domestic presence to seven locations.

Schindler's List Releasing in Dolby Cinema

To commemorate the 25th anniversary release of Steven Spielberg's masterpiece Schindler's List, one of the most significant endeavors in the history of cinema, Universal Pictures will re-release the film with picture and sound digitally remastered—including in 4K, Dolby Cinema and Dolby Atmos—for a limited theatrical engagement on December 7, 2018, in theaters across the United States and Canada.

Regal Irvine Spectrum Center Opens ScreenX Theatre

Regal announced today that the latest ScreenX location in the U.S. will be at the Irvine Spectrum Center, opening this week. The launch is the first of the previously announced major expansion plan with the Cineworld Group and its subsidiaries, which include Regal, to bring 100 ScreenX screens locations to the U.S. and Europe in the coming years.

D-Box Signs New Deal with Link Digital Cinema

Link Digital Cinema China Technology, Beijing has signed an agreement to purchase additional D-Box motion systems in an effort to meet the growing demand for premium entertainment experiences. In a previous agreement, Link China installed seven D-Box screens for key locations across the country. With this new contract, D-Box is expected to install many more screens before the end of the year with some already in the installation process.

July 27 Means Mission and Moviebill

On July 27 Tom Cruise returns for the sixth time as agent Ethan Hunt when Mission Impossible: Fallout opens in theatres around the country. And on that same opening weekend, patrons of Regal Cinemas will receive their free copies of the third installment of Moviebill, the marketing brainchild of Concourse Media principals Andrew Felts and Matthew Shreder.
