An Adelaide native, Chelsea Mirus trained at Rising Sun Pictures in 2016 while working toward a Media Arts degree from the University of South Australia. Moving quickly into a staff position as a visual effects coordinator at RSP, she worked on a string of high-profile projects including Captain Marvel, Alita: Battle Angel, Thor: Ragnarok and Game of Thrones. Then, in 2019, she accepted a post with Important Looking Pirates, a VFX studio based in Stockholm, Sweden, and moved halfway around the globe to become part of a team attached to such hit shows as The Mandalorian, Westworld, Lost in Space and The Stand.

Big Pic Media has delivered 4K high dynamic range monitoring, display calibration and mastering systems to Evolutions, one of Britain's largest independent post-production companies. The project forms part of ongoing investment in new resources. It includes four Sony BVM-HX310 4K HDR master monitors, an MTI Film Cortex Enterprise mastering and validation system and a Portrait Display Calman Ultimate display calibration bundle.
As a growing number of film producers embrace the idea of virtual production, Arri has established the Arri Solutions Group, which is focused on the design and engineering of customized production infrastructures, including innovative mixed-reality environments, and other ultra-modern solutions. One of the group’s first mixed reality reference projects is the recently operational Dark Bay Virtual Production Studio in Babelsberg near Berlin.
