This Friday, Screenvision will debut exclusive content from E3 within its network of more than 14,200 movie theatre screens during its Front & Center pre-show. The content will feature a sneak peek of the groundbreaking technology that will be available to moviegoers later this year, including interviews with industry leaders like Dell Alienware, Ubisoft and Disney Interactive.

The Dutch cinema chain JT Bioscopen is installing a Barco 6 primary Laser3D (6P) laser-illuminated projector in its brand-new Hilversum Media Park seven-screen multiplex. With 21 multiplexes in 19 cities around the country, JT Bioscopen is the second largest theater chain in The Netherlands.
The 17th Shanghai International Film Festival opened with the screening of the classic Chinese film Stage Sisters, which has been fully restored in 4K. Directed by the late Chinese director Xie Jin and first released in 1964, the 50-year-old film is now widely regarded as Xie’s masterpiece.
