Leading Hindi films distributor Yash Raj Films has teamed with California based MediaMation to release the Indian feature War in MX4D. The film is one of the most anticipated features of all time for the Indian film industry.
Leading Indian film production company Yash Raj Films has announced that its latest feature film War will be coming to select theatres in CJ4DPlex’s multi-sensory cinema experience, 4DX. War was produced by Aditya Chopra. The film will release October 2 on Gandhi Jayanti, a national holiday in India. The movie in 4DX will be available in India at PVR Cinemas and Cinepolis Cinemas, and at Oman, Qatar, Lebanon, and across the UAE at Vox Cinemas.
Sree Kalidas M-Plex has become the first cinema complex in the southern Indian state of Kerala to install cinema projectors featuring Christie RealLaser illumination and ViveAudio. Located in the capital city of Thiruvananthapuram, the newly completed multiplex has seven auditoriums. Christie’s Indian partner TSR handled the installation.

Cinionic has expanded its relationship with one of India’s fastest growing theater chains, Miraj Cinemas, and will upgrade Miraj’s fleet of theaters with Barco Smart and Flagship Laser projectors. Samsung and Harman have installed one of the world’s largest Onyx Cinema LED screens in India’s tech capital Bengaluru at the iconic Swagath Cinemas, which will now be rechristened Swagath Onyx Theatre. The screen measures 14 meters. Globally, there are only two other 14-meter Onyx Cinema LED screens installed to date, in Malaysia and China.
D-Box Technologies and PVR Cinemas have reached an agreement for the addition of more than 400 D-Box motion seats in four locations in Mumbai and Delhi-NCR. The installation is scheduled to start next fall in nine auditoriums and will include the company’s basic motion seat and recliner motion seats.
