Motion Picture Solutions has appointed Matt Aspray the company’s chief executive officer. He takes over from Howard Kiedaisch, who is stepping aside to focus on the growth of Bel Air Cinema, a company he co-founded and in which MPS is a principal partner.
Ymagis Group has appointed Jean Firome has been appointed chief financial officer, replacing Rémi Gérard, who left the group this summer for personal reasons. Philippe Lefebvre joins the group as vice president procurement. Benoit Schils is the group’s new quality director.

SMPTE today announced that it will elevate 12 industry leaders to the status of SMPTE Fellow. Merrill, whose background includes nine years as a writer/producer for Cartoon Network, will lead client relations, business development and project management. She will also work with Nine Mile Circle editor and owner Kyle Kramb in implementing the company’s further expansion plans, including a move to a larger facility this fall.
