We Kill Death An Immersive First

In what could be the most immersive movie experience ever, producers Alex A. Ginzburg and Tony Lee of Let It Play have announced a partnership with 4DX and ScreenX that will make their recently announced film We Kill Death the first feature film produced specifically for each of the two immersive cinema technology formats. We Kill Death focuses on YouTube stars Mustang Wanted, Oleg Cricket and the duo of Vitaliy Raskalov and Vadim Makhorov, who are familiar to millions of viewers around the world for their imaginative and death-defying stunts and adventures.

Deluxe’s Method Studios Adds to Animation Staff

Deluxe Entertainment's Method Studios has hired supervising art director and head of art department Olivier Pron, commercials VFX supervisor and creative director Jesse Bradstreet, commercials VFX supervisor James Rogers, animation supervisors Daryl Sawchuk and Tim Ranck, and VFX supervisor Gong Myung Lee. They will be based in Los Angeles and New York.

Rising Sun Pictures Opens Sydney Production Office

Capitalizing on a steady rise in international film and television production in Australia, Rising Sun Pictures, the Academy Award-nominated, Adelaide-based visual effects studio, has expanded its operation by opening a front-end office in Sydney. The new site will operate out of Fox Studios Australia and support productions located on the lot and based in the area.

Piccirillo and Pearson Launch Yard Dog

Executive producers Joe Piccirillo and Beth Pearson have launched Yard Dog TV, a production company and creative incubator focused on producing impactful, innovative advertising content. Based in Los Angeles, the company debuts with a roster of six directors, Tom De Cerchio, Mark Dektor, Ron Hamad, Vic Huber, Alexander Paul and Joe Windsor-Williams, and plans to pursue creative opportunities across the United States and internationally.
