Award-winning London production studio Jellyfish has appointed Charlotte Loynes as its development producer. Drawing from her extensive career in animation spanning 20 years, Loynes will support and guide the creative ideas Jellyfish generates internally as well as their collaborations with external developers.

Atlanta post house Nine Mile Circle has hired Julia Merrill as executive producer. Merrill, whose background includes nine years as a writer/producer for Cartoon Network, will lead client relations, business development and project management. She will also work with Nine Mile Circle editor and owner Kyle Kramb in implementing the company’s further expansion plans, including a move to a larger facility this fall.

As production of the next round of high-profile documentary shooting for the Sea Shepherd organization approached, Gavin Garrison, principal of Red Apple Production, Santa Barbara, California, made the decision to shoot the upcoming project for the first time in 4K. He chose Panasonic’s AG-DVX200 4K large-sensor camcorders for the project.

Sue Pelino of Broadway Video was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Awards as part of the sound mixing team for outstanding sound mixing for a variety series or special. The nomination was awarded to the audio production team on the 2017 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony that aired on HBO. Pelino served as re-recording mixer on the project.
