The Award will be presented as part of the CineEurope Awards Ceremony on June 20 at the Centre Convencions Internacional Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain.

Presented by the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television, the Golden Screen Award recognizes the Canadian film that grossed the highest in domestic box office over the period of January 1, 2022, to February 24, 2023.

With two 55,000 lumen Christie RGB pure laser projectors as part of a Cinity Cinema System, Cineplex Aachen celebrated a technological premiere in Europe that attracted internationally renowned filmmakers as the first cinema in Germany with a Cinity Cinema System. Cinépolis is partnering with Star Sports to screen live Team India cricket matches, including the Semi-Final and Final, during the ICC T20 Men’s World Cup. Starting Tuesday, June 11, moviegoers of all ages can climb aboard the Summer Movie Express at Regal to enjoy a great selection of movies. During the nine-week festival, more than 400 Regal theatres will offer two PG movies every Tuesday and Wednesday morning at 11:00 for only one dollar.
