CJ CGV to Open Theatre in San Francisco
CJ CGV announced today that it will open its third U.S. location at 1000 Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco, California in early 2020. Strategically located in Downtown San Francisco, near the Civic Center and Union Square, one of the most visited tourist attractions in the nation, the new theatre will feature 14 screens and 2,217 seats.

PVR to Install D-Box Motion Seats in Mumbai, Delhi-NCR
D-Box Technologies and PVR Cinemas have reached an agreement for the addition of more than 400 D-Box motion seats in four locations in Mumbai and Delhi-NCR. The installation is scheduled to start next fall in nine auditoriums and will include the company’s basic motion seat and recliner motion seats.

With more than 2,700 chairs ordered for four of its locations in the United States, Rochester Theater Management has begun installing Luxury Recliners, Gliders and Rockers from Spaces And Between’s Atom Seating division. The locations include, the Brockport Strand Theatre, the Geneseo Theaters, Canandaigua Theaters, and Auburn Movieplex.

Atlas Cinemas, Cleveland, Upgrades with Atom Seating
Atlas Cinemas’ EastGate location in Cleveland, Ohio recently upgraded its seating with 723 recliners from Atom Seating. Atom Seating, the cinema seating division of Spaces & Between supplied one of its leading models, the Helium Mini, which the company says is known for its ergonomic cushioning that is comfortable and long lasting.
Paramount Releasing Wonder Park, Pet Sematary in 4DX
Paramount Pictures is releasing upcoming feature films Wonder Park and Pet Sematary in the immersive, multi-sensory 4DX format from CJ 4DPlex. The companies also announced plans to release additional titles together later in 2019.
