Hoyts, the largest single-brand movie exhibitor in Australia, has commissioned D-Box haptic recliner seats in for seven additional Hoyts’ locations, to be installed by the end of 2023. This will raise the total number of Hoyts theatres equipped with D-Box technology over the last four years to 22, many of them full-fledged D-Box auditoriums.

In the third quarter of 2022, Kinepolis welcomed 74.3 percent of the visitors that were received in the same period in 2019. The recovery of cinema attendance was promising in the first half of the year, but then suffered from a weaker offering of films during a very hot summer. In 2022, up to and including the month of September, Kinepolis welcomed 76.1 percent of the visitors welcomed in the same period in 2019.
Films from across the world will be screened at the upcoming 11th edition of the Dharamshala International Film Festival, which is set to be held from November 3-6 at the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts in McLeod Ganj, Dharamshala. The movies will be screened at inflatable theatres.
