The Award will be presented as part of the CineEurope Awards Ceremony on June 20 at the Centre Convencions Internacional Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain.
Fathom Events is partnering with Warner Bros. Pictures to bring filmmaker Daniela Völker’s timely and poignant documentary The Commandant’s Shadow to theatres across the U.S. on May 29 with an encore presentation the following day. The New York premiere of Caroline Lindy's romantic comedy, Your Monster, is set for opening night of the 14th annual Lower East Side Film Festival at Village East Cinema on Thursday, May 2. The film stars Melissa Barrera (Scream), who will be in attendance at the premiere, along with cast members Edmund Donovan (Tell Me Lies), Brian McCarthy (Paterson, The Americans), Taylor Trensch (Evil), and Kayla Foster (The Deuce, Call Jane) and crew members Caroline Lindy, Shannon Reilly, Scotty Anderson (Succession, Ma Rainey's Black Bottom), and Maribeth Fox (A Quiet Place, Bottoms).

Warner Bros. has crossed the one-billion-dollar mark at the international box office, becoming the first studio to reach the milestone this year. At 15 weeks, this is also the fastest the Studio has topped one billion dollars overseas. Warner Bros.’ previous record was 17 weeks in 2018. Projections through Sunday are $1.040 billion.
The Lower East Side Film Festival has announced its feature film lineup and opening night events. The 14th annual LESFF runs May 2-6 at the Village East Cinema and DCTV Firehouse Cinema in New York City.

The company says WireLink facilitates the delivery of digital cinema content to more theatres in more countries around the world. It says it is a convenient and secure way to deliver content to locations that are challenging to reach through existing physical, satellite, and electronic delivery methods.
With the addition of 13 new exhibitor partners, MetaMedia, which says it is the world’s first cloud-based platform for delivering movies, live events, targeted advertising, and other premium content to cinemas, now features 30 exhibitor partners across nearly 800 cinema locations, including cinemas from four of the top five largest U.S. cinema chains. In recent weeks, the MetaMedia platform has also securely, efficiently, and cost-effectively delivered more than 500 feature films to cinemas from major and independent studios as well as numerous live content events.

Established in 2020, Mediafellows is a provider of business-to-business software as a service that enable media asset management, content marketing and sales, and cloud-based fulfillment services.
