Seagate, Axel Ai Address Growing Media Asset Management Challenge

Seagate Technology and Axel ai have joined forces to manage and provide instant user access to many terabytes or petabytes of video content. The new collaboration is centered around the Seagate Lyve edge-to-cloud mass storage platform, designed to offer a coherent data storage architecture extending from on premise removable media through cloud storage-as-a-service, all from a single trusted vendor. Axle ai’s software is a browser-based front end that can be used across multiple storage devices and services, making it easy for media teams to remotely search and manage their content from anywhere. Together, axle ai and Seagate are broadening access to cost effective smart media solutions for real world applications.

Banh Ultimatum Vying for AICP Award

Currently short-listed for an Association of Independent Commercial Producers Post Award, Banh Ultimatum is a campy, two-minute spot disguised as a trailer for a 1980s vintage, action movie. The film was conceived and directed by freelance creative Jim Heekin and promotes Boulder, Colorado restaurant Daikon, which specializes in Vietnamese-style sandwiches. The editorial, visual effects, sound design and post-production services were completed at the post house 11 Dollar Bill.

A Tale of Two (Different) Lenses

When writer/director Christian Rousseau envisioned the look of No Loss // No Gain, he knew that the two worlds the film would portray would need to be photographed differently, but the idea of using completely different lenses from two different manufacturers was not part of the initial plan — until cinematographers John Sedlack and Kate Steinhebel had to switch which unit each would photograph.

Finished work needs to be delivered on time and on spec to stakeholders around the globe.
