PVR Inox has announced the opening of its fourth property in the city of temples, Bhubaneswar. The new four-screen multiplex is the first cinema in the city featuring all 4K laser projection and Dolby Atmos sound.
Leo is the third film in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe. Inspired by the A History of Violence graphic novel series, director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Tamil-language action thriller follows family man Parthi who resides in Northwestern India where he owns a coffee shop and helps the local forest ranger rescue animals. His attempts to keep a low profile fall short after he saves the townsfolk from a wild spotted hyena and makes national news. An army of crazed and dangerous gangsters begin to hunt Parthi, obsessed with their belief that he is in fact Leo, a master criminal and son of their kingpin Antony Das. Parthi must fight to protect his family and convince them of his innocence.
The global film distributor, streaming service, and production company Mubi is partnering with PVR Inox Pictures on the release of Academy Award winning director and screenwriter Sofia Coppola’s new drama Priscilla across India. PVR Inox Pictures and Mubi will release Priscilla in cinemas this year, with the film streaming later exclusively on Mubi. In addition, Priscilla will be the closing film of this year’s Mumbai Film Festival, where it will receive its South Asian premiere on November 3 at the PVR Maison in Bandra Kurla Complex
Multiplex chain PVR Inox, India, has reported a profit of Rs 166.3 crore in the second quarter of fiscal 2024 as against a loss of Rs 81.6 crore in the June quarter on account of the success of films including Jawan, Jailer, and Gadar 2, according to the company.

PVR Inox has announced the opening of its second cinema in Mohali featuring the first P[XL] and all 4K laser cinema in the city of Mohali. With this opening, PVR Inox unveils its fifth property in the tri-city area of Mohali, Panchkula and Chandigarh and will strengthen its foothold in Punjab with 83 screens in 16 properties continuing its expansion in the Northern part of India with 464 screens in 104 properties.
Miraj Cinemas has launched its latest multiplex in Mumbai, bringing India's third-largest cinema chain to 60 cinemas nationwide. There, digital payment, and cashless options are available, and customers can order at Pop Express kiosks, which are located throughout the multiplex.
