Fathom Events is expanding its distribution beyond the cinema with the announcement of its new Fathom Affinity Network. The company is partnering with Faith Content Network to reach nearly 800 churches nationwide, located in additional markets outside its current exhibition partner locations. This partnership will provide theatrical-quality faith and inspirational content to underserved audiences across the country.
Presented by DCS Events in association with The Big Picture and SISAY, the Turkish Exhibitors Association, the Emerging Cinema Markets 2018 conference is set to begin November 20 in Istanbul. Fathom Events has partnered with Warner Bros. Pictures to bring Academy Award winner Peter Jackson’s poignant WWI documentary They Sall Not Grow Old to movie theaters across the U.S. December 17, with an encore presentation December 27. The film is presented in 2D and RealD 3D. Tickets go on sale on Friday.

Abramorama and Giant Pictures announced today that the punk music documentary, Turn it Around: The Story of East Bay Punk is being released in more than 70 territories including the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Brazil and Latin America. The film can now be purchased only on iTunes.
Abramorama originally released the film in theaters during the Fall of 2017, and it has played to enthusiastic audiences in more than 125 markets across the U.S.
Event cinema distributor Trafalgar Releasing announced plans today to provide immediate funding to U.S. cinema operators for the deployment of equipment that will significantly expand live event capabilities in domestic cinemas and offer open access to content owners with live event offerings.

Cineplexx Kinobetriebe is installing the company’s first MediaMation MX4D Motion EFX Theatre, making it the first such installation in Austria. The 72-seat, 18-bench theatre is located in Graz, the country’s second largest city.
