CMX Cinemas is installing D-Box haptic seats in five new locations across the United States and will include them in two existing locations that are scheduled for renovation by the end of 2023. This will bring the total number of D-Box haptic seats in CMX Cinemas to nearly 500 and will drive the total number of D-Box screens up to 15.

CMX, a wholly owned subsidy of eighth largest global cinema circuit Cinemex, is a leading US exhibitor with more than 350 screens. As part of the CMX Dolphin 19 revitalization, Cinionic will outfit all the theatre’s legacy Barco digital projectors with Laser Light Upgrades. The laser presentation upgrades at CMX Dolphin 19 are expected to complete this month.
