Christie will showcase its technology for both mainstream and premium large format auditoriums at the CinemaS Shanghai International Film Forum and Exhibition, to be held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center from June 12-14.
Held in conjunction with the 25th Shanghai International Film Festival where Christie is providing cinema projection and support for the opening and closing ceremonies, CinemaS has become the largest exhibition for the cinema industry in Shanghai.
“We are proud to lead the way in cinema technologies with our latest CineLife+ Series projectors that have set a new standard for cinematic excellence,” said James Li, executive director, China Cinema, Christie.
“Our commitment to building advanced cinema equipment goes beyond meeting market demand; our goal is to enable audiences to truly experience movies the way filmmakers intend. CinemaS provides an exceptional platform for the fraternity to come together and drive the development of the cinema industry, fostering innovation and collaboration among our peers.”
The Christie will offer a live demonstration of the CP4415-RGB, a 4K-resolution, 15,000-lumen pure laser cinema projector equipped with Christie RealLaser technology for screens up to 18 meters wide.
Christie will also feature the new CP4455-RGB large-format projector complete with dual-laser optical systems and high-speed CineLife+ electronics capable of 4K@120Hz HFR playback. The 57,000-lumen CP4455-RGB is specially designed for PLF auditoriums.
