Southern Theatres Opens New Movie Tavern

Southern Theatres has completed its second all Christie entertainment complex, at the new Southern Theatres Movie Tavern 8 in Covington, Louisiana. The eight-screen cinema eatery has Christie Solaria Series projectors and Christie Vive Audio cinema systems.

Village Cinemas, one of the leading multiplex operators in Australia, has installed Dolby Atmos technology at two of the VMAX cinema auditoriums at Crown Casino, Melbourne. Maheshwari Theatre Second in Bangalore, India to Adopt Barco’s Auro 11.1 Sound

The Maheshwari Theatre in Bangalore, India has installed Barco Auro 11.1 sound technology. The new sound system will be unveiled at a press conference May 23. The 1,000-seat theater is the second screen in the region to upgrade its sound system to Auro 11.1; the Manasa Theatre upgraded its sound last July.
