Animated Dolby Film Silent Wins Two Emmys

Dolby’s short animated film Silent won two Daytime Emmy Awards at the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences’ Daytime Creative Arts Emmys ceremony, held last Friday in Los Angeles, California. Created in conjunction with Moonbot Studios and CAA Marketing, a division of leading entertainment and sports agency Creative Artists Agency, Silent represents the evolution of film technology from the silent-film era to the present day. The three-minute film celebrates how storytellers, inventors, and technology work together to create magic in the cinema.

David Attenborough’s Conquest of the Skies Nominated for BAFTA

Dolby Cinema has earned a 2015 Red Dot Award for outstanding product design. Since 1954, the Red Dot competitions have been among the most renowned international product design competitions, with annual awards selected by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Germany, known worldwide as a "qualification and communication centre for industry, politics, and society."

Wendy Aylsworth to Receive Inter-Society’s Ken Mason Award
