This expansion of our agreement with AAM is another step in AMC’s continued focus on providing the very best in a theatrical moviegoing experience.”

While combining pioneering automation with a suite of long-established functionality, Screenwriter’s symbiotic relationship with Producer, AAM’s newest enterprise circuit management system, will enable AMC to continue building for the future with versatile circuit-wide control.

Responsible for scheduling features, trailers, and advertisements, monitoring screens, and controlling playback for over 45,000 screens worldwide, AAM’s Screenwriter remains the most powerful, widely deployed TMS in the world. By managing a theatre’s entire workload from one central hub, exhibitors can harness a range of pioneering automation to build efficiency in their workflows, providing site-level staff with the freedom to focus on the experience of their audiences.

After expanding their agreement with the world’s leading cinema chain, this momentous deal not only represents the largest in AAM’s history, but a significant milestone in their mission to power the world’s leading exhibitors, reinforcing the company’s superior software functionality and position at the forefront of industry innovation.

“To attract a renowned, global brand of AMC’s stature, who remains as the world’s largest theatre chain, truly reflects the strength of our TMS’ functionality, and is testimony to whole AAM team,” added Peter Kim, AAM vice president of sales for the Americas and Korea.
