NCM Adds Nine Exhibitors to Advertising Network

National CineMedia has signed multiple extended cinema advertising affiliate agreements with nine exhibitors. These long-term agreements will bring NCM’s Noovie pre-show entertainment program to more than 315 screens across 39 theaters. Movie-goers will continue to be able to experience the Noovie pre-show at these exhibitors including LA Live, Metropolitan Theatres, Golden Star, Movie Scoop and others.

Unique X, Flix Media Sign Deal for Advertising Accord across Latin America

Flix Media, the largest cinema advertising sales company across Latin America, has just signed a long-term deal with cinema software company, Unique X, to supply Advertising Accord to 14 territories Flix operates in: Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Bolivia, El Salvador, Costa Rica,Curazao, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama.

National CineMedia Announces First Quarter Fiscal Results

National CineMedia today announced consolidated results for the fiscal first quarter ended April 1. During the first quarter the company continued to manage its liquidity position through various cost-control measures and the issuance of a new $50 million term loan in March. With the funding of this additional debt, NCM’s cash balance as of April 1 was $139.4 million, an increase of $15.5 million as compared to the balance as of December 31. Including the $52.8 million, the company had $192.2 million of cash, cash equivalents and investments as of April 1.
