Well known cinema advertising company Pearl & Dean has announced the appointment of Clare Turner to the newly created position of UK chief commercial officer. She will be responsible for spearheading commercial growth while maintaining Pearl & Dean’s position as a leading film and cinema media owner.
Turner has worked at Pearl & Dean for over 27 years, in roles including sales director and client services director. During this time, she has developed initiatives between clients and Pearl & Dean’s agency sales teams, creating rich film partnerships for brands. Highlights have included work with M&S, Chambord, Kia, British Airways and EDF. During her time at Pearl & Dean, Turner has been recognized as a top 10 Sales Director by Campaign Magazine.
As CCO, Turner will focus on expanding the company's agency, exhibitor, and client partnerships to further elevate Pearl & Dean’s position within the UK marketplace. Her remit will also include exploring new revenue streams and commercial partnerships. Turner will focus on growth in the UK, with Damon Westbury, who was hired last year as chief commercial officer in Ireland, focusing on the Irish market.
