CJ 4DPlex has announced that, for a limited time, Barbie will be shown in its immersive 4DX-seating format in theatres nationwide and in select international markets beginning September 15.
To date, there are more than 788 4DX auditoriums around the world, spanning more than 69 countries.
There are currently 58 4DX theatres in the United Sates and Barbie will be screened in almost all of them.
In all, 15 countries outside the US are expected to present Barbie in 4DX.
The multi-sensory 4DX format utilizes more than 21 unique motion and environmental effects like wind, water, and fog to enhance all the magical moments that will make the audience feel as though they are being transported right into Barbieland.
