Marvel Studios Thor: Love and Thunder will debut in CJ 4DPlex’s immersive 270-degree panoramic ScreenX format in theatres worldwide beginning July 6, followed by the United States on July 8. By expanding specially selected film sequences onto the left and right-side walls of the auditorium, ScreenX surrounds and transports moviegoers into the otherworldly action of the film.

The Walt Disney Studios epic live-action film Mulan will be releasing worldwide in the immersive 4DX and ScreenX formats, starting March 25 in certain markets, totaling 734 4DX screens and 314 ScreenX screens worldwide.
CJ 4DPlex ended a successful 2019 with a record-breaking global box office for theatres with 4DX immersive seats, grossing more than $320 million, according to the company. With its best year yet at the global box office in 2019, ticket sales for movies shown in 4DX theatres increased 12 percent over 2018's record of $286 million. Cineplex today announced that it had added new immersive theatre formats 4DX and ScreenX in locations across Canada. The multi-sensory 4DX experience is now open at three new locations: Cineplex Cinemas Winston Churchill in Oakville, Ontario; Cineplex Cinemas Hamilton Mountain in Stoney Creek, Ontario; and Scotiabank Theatre Edmonton in Edmonton, Alberta.
