Panasonic has announced that Apple’s new Final Cut Pro version 6.0.5 software now incorporates support for the professional PH recording mode offered in its AG-HMC150 handheld AVCCam camcorder. The enhanced PH recording mode is exclusive to the AVCCam HMC150 and provides high quality 1080 and 720 recording in an AVCHD format at bit rates up to 24Mbps. “We are pleased that Apple now supports the additional capabilities that the PH recording mode provides ” says Michael Bergeron strategic technology liaison Panasonic Broadcast. “Initial sales of the HMC150 have been outstanding and now these owners can realize the full capabilities of Final Cut Pro with the exceptional quality and flexibility provided by the HMC150.” Panasonic www.panasonic.com/avccam
