QSC has named cinema industry veteran Beth Figge business development director of the company’s cinema team. She will begin her duties September 6.
Figge has extensive experience in the Cinema products industry, having served as cinema sales manager for companies such as Dolby Labs, Doremi, Moving Image Technologies, Sony Cinema Products, and JBL Professional. She is also a member of the board of directors of the International Cinema Technology Association, who honored her in 2014 with the prestigious Allen Award for outstanding contributions to the ICTA and the industry.
As director of cinema business development, Figge will be responsible for cultivating customer relationships and developing new business through complete cinema system sales, by serving as a technology/product advocate for the QSC Cinema products portfolio.
“The growth trajectory of QSC Cinema requires that we continue to support our dealers and end-customers with complete cinema system solutions consistent with the high quality level that they’ve come to expect for over 30 years,” said Barry Ferrell, senior vice president and chief strategy officer for QSC.
“As we look toward future growth in cinema, Beth will play a critical role not only in building on this level of support, but also growing our business through new opportunities and markets.” Ferrell also heads the cinema business unit for QSC, and Beth will report directly to him.
