Cine Araújo Upgrades with the GDC TMS-2000

GDC Technology Limited announced today cumulative sales in Brazil for its TMS-2000 theatre management system exceeded forecasts with seven major circuits changing out their legacy theatre management system to TMS-2000 software in the last 12 months. Cine Araújo is the latest major Brazil circuit to change its legacy software to TMS-2000 to monitor sight and sound equipment and manage their content.

GDC Technology Limited announced today cumulative sales in Brazil for its TMS-2000 theatre management system exceeded forecasts with seven major circuits changing out their legacy theatre management system to TMS-2000 software in the last 12 months. Cine Araújo is the latest major Brazil circuit to change its legacy software to TMS-2000 to monitor sight and sound equipment and manage their content.With Cine Araújo, GDC now has the biggest piece of the pie with a 52 percent share in the TMS market.

At 97 years old, Cine Araújo is part of the history of cinema in Brazil. Currently, the company is among the largest local cinema chains. The company, which is proud to be 100 percent Brazilian, is headquartered in Botucatu City and operates 28 cinemas with 154 screens located in 26 cities and 10 states.

The company is best known for investing in the most modern comfort for moviegoers as well as the most advanced technologies and forms of exhibition.

A web-browser based TMS-2000, which allows multiple users to monitor booth operations simultaneously from a web browser will be introduced at CinemaCon 2024.
