Samsung has announced a new CSI Leasing program to service existing and future Samsung customers. In separate news, Samsung has shared a list of certified resellers for the Samsung Onyx. The new leasing program will enable Samsung to provide customers with full-service lease solutions for its B2B display products, including but not limited to the revolutionary Samsung Onyx, industry leading Smart Signage solutions, hospitality displays and business monitors.

Éclair, Samsung Partner to Bring Onyx Cinema LED Technology to European Filmmakers

Éclair today announced that, starting in November, it will install a Samsung Onyx Cinema LED screen in its facilities in Paris-Vanves. This will make Éclair one of the first to provide professional services specifically tailored for the Onyx Cinema LED – contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, color grading with true zero nit black, and ÉclairColor DCP mastering – to European filmmakers, producers and distributors.

Samsung Selects Arri Alexa Footage to Showcase Onyx Cinema LED Screens

Samsung has selected footage captured with Arri Alexa cameras to showcase their Onyx 4K cinema LED displays. By using an array of modular LED panels to replace cinema projectors, the Samsung Cinema LED displays offer a completely new format of a cinema screen to enhance movie experiences. The technology displays Ultra Contrast with true blacks, high dynamic range and P3 color with supreme accuracy.

Samsung Cinema LED Screen Certified for EclairColor

Engineers and technicians from Samsung Electronics and Ymagis Group have successfully worked together to develop a component that allows the Samsung Cinema LED Screen to showcase movies and other content with EclairColor HDR picture quality while meeting EclairColor’s technical specifications. The combination of these two technologies means HDR images are shown at a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 to deliver a more detailed and resonating viewing environment.
