FilmLight has introduced BLG for Flame as the latest product in the Baselight Editions range. BLG for Flame is a Linux-only plugin for Autodesk Flame that applies a Baselight grade automatically, either from Baselight Linked Grade files or directly from a Baselight scene.
Post-production finishing for Prospect, the acclaimed feature debut from directors Zeek Earl and Christopher Caldwell, was completed at Umedia in Vancouver. Veteran colorist Trent Johnson has joined MTI Film. Johnson brings more than 25 years of experience and credits spanning features, animation, episodic television and restoration. His recent credits include Columbia Pictures’ The Emoji Movie, Screen Gems’ Proud Mary and the upcoming MGM comedy Overboard.

Wonder Wheel, from Amazon Studios, reunites Allen with veteran cinematographer Vittorio Storaro, who was behind the camera for Allen’s Café Society, where his cinematography earned the biggest raves from critics reviewing the film. The movie also reunites colorist Anthony Raffaele of Technicolor PostWorks New York and DIT Simone d’Arcangelo.
MTI Film recently provided final post-production services for The Story of Us with Morgan Freeman, a six-part documentary series on National Geographic. The facility handled editorial conforming and color grading for the series in which the veteran actor travels the globe “in search of an answer to one fundamental question for humanity: what are the common forces that bind us together?”
Post-production finishing for season six of TNT’s police drama Major Crimes is currently underway at MTI Film, continuing a relationship that began with the show’s debut in 2012. The facility faces tight deadlines and significant technical and creative hurdles in delivering each of 13 episodes included in the current season.
