The nominees have been announced for the 22nd annual Golden Trailer Awards ceremony, which will be held live at The Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, California on Thursday, October 6th. This year’s awards represent the ever-evolving entertainment industry. The 2022 jury consists of top-level directors, producers, actors, writers, executives, and advertising creatives as well as program host, renowned comedian and NBC talk show personality, Henry Cho.

Kim Waugh to Receive HPA Lifetime Achievement Award

The Hollywood Professional Association Awards Committee has announced that revered studio post-production executive Kim Waugh, executive vice president of worldwide post-production creative services, Warner Bros. Studio Operations at Warner Bros. Discovery, will receive the HPA Lifetime Achievement Award on November 17. The awards honor technical and creative brilliance in content creation.

Goldcrest Names Mark Kaplan Executive Vice President

Veteran post-production executive Mark Kaplan is joining Goldcrest Post as executive vice president. A highly regarded industry veteran, Kaplan will be tasked with growing the facility and attracting more work from both inside and outside New York City, including Los Angeles and London. He comes aboard the facility after 20 years at Technicolor, Los Angeles, (now Formosa Group) where he was vice president of broadcast sales.

Bringing more than a dozen years of experience, Richardson has developed a broad skill set and a credit list that includes the Oscar-shortlisted documentary All In: The Fight for Democracy for Amazon Prime, the BAFTA-nominated documentary Becoming Cousteau for Nat Geo and the provocative documentary Britney vs Spears for Netflix.
