Motion Picture Solutions has named Howard Kiedaisch CEO and chairman of the MPS Group. Kiedaisch takes up the role on May 1 after serving in a number of senior leadership positions in the international film industry. He joins the company after nine years as CEO of Arts Alliance Media; prior to that, he was CFO for Universal Pictures International. His appointment — in MPS’s 10th anniversary year — reflects the company’s strategic plan,which balances stability with innovation and growth.

Ian Thomas, MPS’s founder, will continue with the company to focus on providing distributors with engineering and technical support — the services on which he successfully established the business in 2005.
