More2Screen has announced that its latest event cinema release Jeff Wayne’s The War of The Worlds Alive On Stage! was in the UK top 10 grossing movies for both of its two screening dates last month. Screened at more than 200 cinemas across the UK and Ireland the multi-media stage show based on HG Wells’ novel was filmed at a sold-out O2 in December. Featuring the holographic performance of Liam Neeson as The Journalist a stellar live cast and conducted by composer/producer Jeff Wayne this musical version of The War of The Worlds has a loyal and passionate following that turned out in their thousands to watch it on the big screen.
