GDC Technology Appoints Tony Adamson Head of Strategic Planning

GDC Technology Limited has named Tony Adamson its new senior vice president of strategic planning.

In his new role, Adamson will be responsible for driving sales and developing marketing strategies that will deliver added value to GDC’s customers. Building upon the company’s expertise in cinema technology, and its leading position in the market, he will focus on creating new business opportunities and nurturing business partnerships worldwide.

With more than 30 years of experience in the cinematic industry, Adamson brings an insightful global perspective to GDC that will greatly aid the expansion of the company’s business ecosystem. His leadership will play a key role in driving forward company strategy, and realizing GDC’s ambitions for future growth.

Prior to joining GDC Technology, Adamson served as the worldwide strategic program manager for Texas Instruments’ Enterprise and Cinema Products. He is also on the boards of the International Cinema Technology Association and Variety, The Children’s Charity of Texas, where he is a past chairman of the board. Before joining TI, he held the post of director of strategic marketing for AMC Entertainment.
