With the support of member-company Autodesk the International 3D Society has announced the 3D Independent Film Competition. The competition is open to 3D filmmakers around the world. All films must be submitted by December 12 at 11:00 pm PST. The 3D Independent Film Competition supports 3D filmmakers around the world. Filmmakers have the opportunity to show their work directly to the 3D industry's leading companies and studios including the major Hollywood studios. A panel of top 3D industry professionals will judge each submission. The winners will be announced and recognized at the International 3D Society's 3D Creative Arts Awards ceremony on February 15th at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills California. Winners will be in the company of all the major 3D film studio television video game and mobile content creators in Hollywood as well as international. Winners will be flown to Hollywood and accommodated for five days and four nights in a four-star hotel while they get to tour a major Hollywood studio and have the opportunity to go on set with one of Hollywood's top 3D stereographers.
