Cinema Equipment and Supplies announced today that Wehrenberg Theatres, the oldest and largest family-owned movie theater chain in America, has chosen and deployed Cielo, CE+S’ cloud-based monitoring and support platform, across Wehrenberg’s 213-screen circuit.

Cielo has been deployed to Wehrenberg’s 15 sites and 213 screens across Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota and Missouri, including nine theaters with 131 screens in the St. Louis Metropolitan area. As part of the services included with Cielo, Wehrenberg Theatres will have access to Cielo On-Site, an added feature that offers rapid-response local technical support at the client’s site. The implementation of Cielo is just the beginning of a growing partnership between CE+S and Wehrenberg Theatres that will include multiple end-to-end technology solutions.
Cielo was introduced at CinemaCon in 2015.
