Rocket Boys presents a fictionalized account of the era-defining story of physicist Homi J. Bhabha — Nobel Prize nominee and the father of India’s nuclear program — and Vikram Sarabhai — physicist, astronomer, and the brains behind India’s first national space agency. The show focuses on these two pioneers and how they worked to establish the newly independent India as a world power, through nuclear power and a presence in space.

Goldcrest Handles Post for Eight Tribeca Festival Films

Goldcrest Post provided post-production picture and sound services for eight films screening at this month’s Tribeca Film Festival. The work included a 4K restoration of Robert De Niro’s classic coming-of-age crime drama A Bronx Tale for its 30th anniversary Gala screening on June 10. Other projects include Choir; Waitress, The Broadway Musical – Live on Broadway! Gloria Gaynor: I Will Survive; Black Girls Play: The Story of Hand Games; Against All Enemies; Every Body, and It’s Basic.

Diego Yhama Launches Coloristas Hispanos Podcast

Diego Yhama, CSI is a Colombian colorist and founder of Bogota post-production boutique, Estudio Roco. The company provides color grading and other services for film, television, and advertising, including projects for NatGeo, Discovery Channel, Discovery Home and Health, and The Fox Channel. Yhama, who is also a DaVinci Resolve Master Trainer, recently launched Coloristas Hispanos, a podcast focused on colorists in the Spanish-speaking world.

Finishing Wolf Pack at Pace

Post-production finishing for the first season of the Paramount+ drama Wolf Pack was recently completed at Pace Pictures, Hollywood. The full-service post house provided sound and picture services for the series, written and executive produced by Jeff Davis, including sound editorial, automatic dialogue replacement, sound mixing, color grading, and editorial finishing.

In October 1948, Jesse Brown became the first African American to complete the U.S. Navy’s flight training program and received his Naval Aviator Badge. The feature Devotion, directed by J.D. Dillard and based on the bestselling book by Adam Makos, recounts the true story of Brown’s distinguished service, focusing on the year 1950, at the onset of the Korean War, when he and his fellow pilots in Fighter Squadron 32 deployed aboard the aircraft carrier USS Leyte, first to the Mediterranean Sea and then to the East Sea, off the coast of North Korea.

ArsenalFX Color Hires Tahirah Foy

Arsenal FX Color, with studios in Santa Monica, Albuquerque and Atlanta, has added colorist Tahirah Foy to its growing staff. Formerly with HBO, Foy brings diverse experience in color grading for television, film, and broadcast media, and in film restoration. In her first project for Arsenal FX Color, she will be performing final color grading for the feature documentary Big Boss, directed by Keke Palmer.

11 Dollar Bill Handles Post for Fund for the Fabulous

11 Dollar Bill provided editorial support and post-production services to the Ponysaurus Brewing Company’s support for North Carolina’s LGBT+ community’s production of “Lieutenant Governor’s Fund for the Fabulous” campaign. Conceived by independent North Carolina agency Baldwin&, the campaign was launched in response to a speech given by North Carolina Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson in which he referred to LGBTQ+ people as “filth.”
