DCDC Delivers Most Titles in One Quarter Since its Inception

In what many referred to as a transition year for the industry, the Digital Cinema Distribution Coalition said it managed record-breaking achievements in 2022 with new goals exceeded. The distributor saw the most titles delivered in a single quarter, the third quarter since its inception with a record 91 titles including several live events.

Cinemark Extends Distribution Partnership with KenCast

Cinemark has extended its partnership with KenCast to ensure the distribution of theatrical content across South and Central America. By recommitting with KenCast, Cinemark will ensure that the latest feature films, special events, and trailers will continue to be distributed to the hundreds of cinemas Cinemark operates in fifteen countries from Guatemala to Argentina.

DCDC to Pay Rebates to Exhibitor, Content Partners

The Digital Cinema Distribution Coalition has announced that it will once again pay rebates to all its customers based on their continued use and support of the network. DCDC first provided rebates in March 2020 after paying back its founding investors (AMC Theatres, Cinemark Theatres, Regal Entertainment Group, Universal Pictures, and Warner Bros.) their initial investments in full.

Kiedaisch Assesses His First Year at DCDC

In July 2021, the Digital Cinema Distribution Coalition named longtime film industry veteran Howard Kiedaisch to take the reigns as CEO, in the wake of Randolph Blotky’s decision to step down. DCDC, the satellite network originally formed by AMC Theatres Regal Entertainment Group, Cinemark Theatres, Universal Pictures, and Warner Bros., now has more than 800 sites that can receive exclusive live cinema events. Those sites represent more than 3,100 theatres and more than 33,000 screens across the U.

DCDC Network Passes 800 Site Mark

The Digital Cinema Distribution Coalition has announced that its network’s live theatrical event footprint has now surpassed 800 sites, expanding the opportunity to bring more consumers together for exclusive live cinematic experiences. The 800-plus sites in DCDC’s growing network represent more than 3,100 theatres and more than 33,000 screens across the U.S.
