The Flash Releasing in ScreenX and 4DX
CJ 4DPlex and Warner Bros. Pictures today announced that the epic DC superhero movie The Flash will debut in both the 270-degree panoramic ScreenX format and the multisensory 4DX experiential format. Distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, The Flash will release in North American theatres on June 16 and internationally beginning June 14.
Galalite Screens Upgrades to Improve Sustainablity
Galalite Screens, India, has taken a step towards reducing its carbon footprint and improving sustainability by investing in an air and water pollution control system in its plant. During the production of Avatar, Galalite’s factory operated around the clock to meet the demand. Following the success of the film, they temporarily closed the plant to undergo significant upgrades.

This is the first time a Universal Studios' film from the Fast & Furious franchise will premiere in the visually immersive theatres.

CJ 4DPlex has recorded its strongest start in box office history. The first four months of 2023’s box office for 4DX and ScreenX theatres is tracking 70 percent higher than last year and 36 percent higher than 2019 pre-pandemic levels generating more than $150 million through May 1.
