Marcus Theatres, the fourth largest exhibitor in the U.S., announced today that they have opened the first-ever ScreenX auditorium in the Wisconsin. Galalite Screens, India, has taken a step towards reducing its carbon footprint and improving sustainability by investing in an air and water pollution control system in its plant. During the production of Avatar, Galalite’s factory operated around the clock to meet the demand. Following the success of the film, they temporarily closed the plant to undergo significant upgrades.
