Major Cineplex, Thailand, Opening Second ScreenX Theatre
CJ 4DPlex and Major Cineplex, the largest cinema chain in Thailand, have signed an agreement to open the first ScreenX PLF auditorium at Major's multiplex at Siam Paragon in Bangkok, Thailand. The new ScreenX PLF auditorium will have 336 seats and a 20-meter-wide screen, the largest ScreenX in the country.
Venice Upgrades Taoyuan City Cinema
Venice Cinemas has deployed a suite of innovative projection and content management solutions to deliver awe-inspiring visuals in its upgraded multiplex in Taoyuan City, Taiwan. Located in the bustling business district of Zhongli, Venice Cinemas is spread across two buildings connected by an iconic, red-colored pedestrian bridge reminiscent of those found in Venice, Italy. It recently underwent a major facelift by adding five new halls at the basement level, boosting the total number of cinema auditoriums from 10 to 15. These five new halls are equipped with 8.5-meter (27.8 foot) screens, adorned in special color schemes, and connected to a spacious lobby featuring highly immersive waterfall projections that accentuates the multiplex’s distinctive aquatic theme.
SM Cinema, Philippines, Signs Multi-Year Deal with Vista
Vista Cinema has signed a multi-year deal with SM Cinema, the Philippines largest film exhibitor. The arrangement is the first for Vista in the Philippines and will give SM customers easier access to seat reservations, ticket purchasing and concession sales.

Cinépolis Pejaten Village in southern Jakarta is installing Christie projectors. This is the exhibitor’s first multiplex in Indonesia to be fully equipped with Christie RGB pure laser projectors. It houses five auditoriums fitted with Christie CP2309-RGB and CP2320-RGB models.
