B&B Theatres today signed an agreement that makes GDC Technology Limited its exclusive provider of digital cinema servers for the next three years. B&B Theatres is one of the fastest-growing cinema chains in the US adding 144 screens and 11 movie theatres in the last 18 months to become the fifth-largest domestic theatre circuit. B&B Theatres now operates 513 screens at 56 sites in 14 states.
Cinépolis has extended its longstanding relationship with Arts Alliance Media. After employing the combined power of AAM’s Screenwriter Theatre Management System, Producer Circuit Management System, and AdFuser, the Campaign Management Tool designed to revolutionize advertising campaigns, the exhibition giant has agreed to renew their software licenses for another term to ensure circuit-wide centralization, drive operational efficiency, and reach their audiences more effectively.
GDC Technology Limited will launch the company’s latest products at CinemaCon 2022, the world’s largest convention for the exhibition and distribution community, which is being held April 25-28 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. GDC will showcase the new SR-1000 media server with the audio capability of rendering up to 32-channels of DTS:X immersive audio that supports SMPTE’s ST 2098-2 immersive audio bitstream standard.
