As content creation and technical specifications change, Wales finds himself having to adapt to newer audio compliance standards across a variety of platforms.

Called “one of the most prescient films of the decade,” She Dies Tomorrow from Neon and writer/director Amy Seimetz, centers on a woman who believes she is about to die from a mysterious illness that is also highly contagious. The psychological thriller, which recently went through sound and picture finishing at Goldcrest Post in New York, delves into universal feelings of anxiety and dread through a story that blends horror, humor, drama and the surreal. Seimetz used sound to convey the feeling of fear.
Though the numbers are certainly on an upward trend, it’s still rare to find women in professional audio, especially one as prominent as Sara Glaser, CAS. Having gotten her start in the industry in college as a recording engineer nearly 20 years ago, Glaser’s major successes can be found in her work as a production sound mixer for feature films and episodic television. Some of her most recent credits include Westworld, Grey’s Anatomy, Feud: Bette and Joan and the Netflix feature film, Rim of the World.
Discovery Network’s Journey to the Future, produced by Storied Media, is a documentary focused on the behind-the-scenes lead-up to America’s historic SpaceX Falcon 9 launch. Several packages were also produced for use throughout the live broadcasts.
