Fate, however, has other plans as Ladybug's latest mission puts him on a collision course with lethal adversaries from around the globe —all with connected, yet conflicting, objectives— on the world's fastest train. Post-production sound for Bullet Train was based at Sony Pictures Post Production Services and presented a myriad of creative opportunities through its furious action, whip-smart comedy, crackling dialogue and ripping-good story.

Sony Renovates, Upgrades Post Production Facilities

Sony Pictures Post Production Services has finished the renovation of its 229-seat Kim Novak Theatre, equipping it with a new speaker array and film screen, rebuilding its electrical infrastructure and remodeling its interior. Sony Pictures has also upgraded its Dub Stage 12, adding Atmos features, as it continues a multi-year effort to expand and update its sound facilities.

Goldcrest Post Provides Sound Editorial, Mixing on Billions

Goldcrest Post is currently providing sound editorial and mixing for the sixth season of Billions, Showtime’s critically acclaimed and popularly received drama about power politics in the world of high finance. Supervising sound editor/re-recording mixer Gregg Swiatlowski and re-recording mixer Eric Hirsch lead the sound team, as they have from the show’s first season, delivering a soundtrack that blends the show’s razor-sharp dialogue with iconic pop songs and sound effects that capture the rarified ambiance of Wall Street brokerage houses and other hangouts of the super-rich. The show was recently renewed for a seventh season.

Dolby Institute Emerging Filmmaker Winning Films Screened

The winners are Alejandra Araujo of Jamaica, New York for Shipped Out; Eleanor Cho of Artesia, California for Dinner is Ready; Antonio Salume of Mexico City, Mexico, and Amy B. Tiong of Waterbury, Connecticut for Take Care Zora; and Christian Osagiede of Los Angeles, California for Hunted.

Tokyo Vice Sound Mixed at Goldcrest

HBO Max’s new series Tokyo Vice, a co-production with Endeavor Content and WoWow, is a gripping crime drama loosely inspired by Jake Adelstein’s bestseller about his real-life experiences as an American journalist working for a major Japanese newspaper in the late ‘90s. The show’s eight-episode first season follows Adelstein (Ansel Elgort) as he pursues members of the Yakuza crime family while navigating the vagaries of Japanese culture and bonding with veteran detective, Hiroto Katagiri (Ken Watanabe).
