Post-production finishing for the first season of the Paramount+ drama Wolf Pack was recently completed at Pace Pictures, Hollywood. The full-service post house provided sound and picture services for the series, written and executive produced by Jeff Davis, including sound editorial, automatic dialogue replacement, sound mixing, color grading, and editorial finishing.

Vancouver Film School Graduates Worked on Oscar-Winning Movies

Vancouver Film School has announced that 82 Oscar winners out of 130 total nominees were VFS alumni who graduated from there and worked on Oscar winning projects. Winning projects for Best Visual Effects included 31 alumni for Avatar: The Way of Water and six alumni for Best Animated Film for Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio.

Fancy House Announces Personnel Changes

Fancy House of Visual Effects has hired veteran VFX artist, designer, and creative director Tim Sepulveda as head of computer graphics and sales and marketing specialist Amy Jones as executive producer/head of sales. The studio, a sister company of Goldcrest Post, has also promoted Alex Tracy, adding executive producer to his title as head of production.

Nice Shoes produced the main title sequence for Wedding Season, the new romantic comedy from Netflix about a pair of young Indian Americans under pressure from their parents to marry. Creative director Stefan Woronko collaborated with Tom Dey, the film’s director, in designing the witty, lighthearted opener, which draws inspiration from dating apps.
