Aladdin in 4DX Earns $17 Million Worldwide
The 4DX version of the Walt Disney Studios’ live action musical Aladdin has earned $17 million in the global box office. Japan and Korea were among the highest performing countries.

Cinema Plus, the leading cinema chain of Azerbaijan, is installing CJ 4DPlex’s immersive seating format in its theatre in the Daniz Mall. This makes Azerbaijan the 65th country globally for 4DX and the fourth country from CIS following Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.
Diesel Kino to Open MX4D Theatre
Diesel Kino, an exhibitor located approximately 50 kilometers from the borders of Slovenia and Hungary, will open an MX4D auditorium next month. Diesel’s first MX4D theatre will have 112 seats configured into 28 benches.
Paramount Releasing Crawl in 4DX
Paramount Pictures is releasing Crawl in the immersive, multi-sensory 4DX format from CJ 4DPlex. The announcement further extends the commitment between CJ 4DPlex and Paramount Pictures with plans to announce additional titles later in 2019. Crawl will open in 4DX auditoriums on July 7th.

CJ 4DPlex has announced that the latest round of 4DX screens in Regal theatres in the U.S. will have opened across five cities by the end of April. The openings will bring the current count of Regal 4DX theaters to 17.
B&B Opens Sixth MX4D Theatre
B&B Theatres has opened another MX4D auditorium, bringing the theatre chain’s total to six. “Our continued partnership with MediaMation proves our belief in MX4D,” said Brock Bagby, executive vice president of B&B Theatres. Situated on the Kansas/Missouri state line, Overland Park is the second largest city in Kansas with nearly 200,000 residents. The theatre also has the ability to draw from the nearby Kansas City metropolitan area, which boasts almost 500,000 peoples.
