This also marks the first premium large format offered anywhere in the country.

CJ 4DPlex and Regal have achieved a remarkable milestone with the new 4DX theatre by expanding the capacity with a record-breaking 296 seats, more than double the average amount of seats in a standard 4DX theatre.
CJ 4DPlex has announced that the revenue earned for their 4DX multisensory auditoriums during 2023 in the United States was $49.6 million, a record-breaking number that exceeds 2022’s 4DX box office by five percent.
In the UK, a media first, the Royal Air Force has become the first advertiser to partner with Cineworld as the sole sponsor of the cinema chain’s 4DX format. The spot has been specially adapted into CJ 4DPlex’s 4DX format, which is available across 34 Cineworld cinema sites. The enhanced version of the ad will run in the Gold Spot premium position across all 4DX enabled screens. The non-4DX ad will run simultaneously across the rest of Digital Cinema Media’s estate.
Reinforcing its premium large format offering with the aim to accelerate box office revenue, Inspire Cinema has introduced the country’s immersive MX4D Motion EFX Theatre from MediaMation at their foremost location in Romania, the Electroputere Mall in Craiova.

Marvel Studios’ upcoming film The Marvels will be showcased in both the visually immersive, 270-degree panoramic ScreenX format and the multi-sensory 4DX experiential format from CJ 4DPlex when it flies into theatres on November 10.
