The iconic British duo Tears for Fears have announced their first-ever official live album, Songs for A Nervous Planet, which is set for release on October 25. The album includes four brand-new studio tracks. Along with the album, they’ve announced a concert film shot and recorded at the scenic FirstBank Amphitheater at Graystone Quarry in Franklin, Tennessee, during their sold-out global Tipping Point Tour Part 2. Tears for Fears Live (A Tipping Point Film) will be distributed in cinemas worldwide via Trafalgar Releasing.

Trafalgar Releasing and the Tom Petty Estate have announced the highly anticipated big screen debut of Tom Petty: Heartbreakers Beach Party. The lost 1983 cult classic documentary, directed by legendary Rolling Stone journalist and Academy Award-winning director Cameron Crowe (Almost Famous, Jerry Maguire), will screen in cinemas worldwide for two special nights only on October 17 and October 20 on what would have been Tom Petty’s 74th birthday.

River Oaks Theatre in Houston Celebrates Reopening

The beloved River Oaks Theatre, a cherished Houston landmark since 1939, will reopen its doors on October 3, presented by Culinary Khancepts, an affiliate of locally owned Star Cinema Grill, which acquired the theater in 2022. In celebration of the imminent reopening, the River Oaks Theatre will light up its iconic marquee tonight at dusk and will remain illuminated through the reopening and beyond.

Crunchyroll, Sony Releasing Trapezium in Select Theatres September 18

Crunchyroll has announced that tickets for the idol-driven, coming-of-age film Trapezium are now on sale and have unveiled the official trailer for audiences in the United States and Canada. The film, distributed by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment, will be released for one-day-only in select theatres on September 18 and will only be available in Japanese with English subtitles.
