Wanda Cinema Line, the world’s largest cinema operator with 195 theaters and 1,732 movie screens in China as at July 2015, will install upwards of 1,500 Christie Solaria Series 2K and 4K digital cinema projectors, as well as the Christie Vive Audio solution in selected theaters, over three years.

Arts Alliance Media has signed a deal with China’s Jackie Chan Cinema chain to deploy AAM’s Screenwriter Theatre Management System across more than 200 screens. MasterImage 3D has successfully challenged RealD’s Chinese utility model patent by filing an appeal before the Chinese Patent Re-examination Board. The Chinese PRB agreed with MasterImage 3D’s claim that RealD’s patent lacked inventiveness and failed to meet the requirements for patent protection. As a result, MasterImage 3D will continue to sell its Horizon3D product line in China.
Wanda Cinema Line Corporation has announced that it will purchase more than 400 units of the Dolby ShowVault/IMB to deploy in all of its new cinema screens built in China through the end of 2015.
Barco has announced the inauguration of the world’s largest single 6P laser theater, the Barco Laser Theater, built by the Eying Group in Chengdu, China. Located on the Eying 1958 Cinema’s landscape-style campus, the first of its kind in China, the largest-screen theater is lit by Barco’s new DP4K-60L, single projector 6P laser 3D system and is named after Barco.
Quantum today announced that China's National Animation Industry Park in Tianjin, the country's largest animation center, is using Quantum StorNext shared storage as the foundation for its 4K post-production workflows. The animation park turned to Quantum when its legacy system was unable to handle the performance and capacity requirements of its new 4K projects, and the StorNext solution has enabled NAIP to increase the efficiency of its workflows by 60 to 80 percent.

This is a recently announced joint venture with Original Force that will provide renders, motion capture, color grading and 3D scanning to customers across the globe.
After entering into a long-term strategic partnership last month, Arts Alliance Media and Wanda Cinema have concluded a deal for all of Wanda’s sites in China to be powered by AAM cinema technology. AAM’s Lifeguard hardware monitoring system and Screenwriter Theatre Management System will be installed on over 1,500 screens initially, a footprint that will grow over the coming years as Wanda Cinema maintains its position as China’s largest circuit. The rollout of the software will begin immediately.
