Adobe Frame.io Now Built Into Red, Fujifilm Cameras

Adobe announced today that its cloud-based video-collaboration capabilities for its Frame.io division will be built directly into cameras from Red and Fujifilm. The company calls this the purest expression yet of a decade’s worth of efforts to create camera-to-cloud integrations that connect production units with the remote teams that subsequently work on the resulting video and stills.

Teradek, Sony Collaborate on Camera-to-Cloud Workflows

Teradek and Sony Electronics have announced an integration that will provide productions in the cine and broadcast markets with greater flexibility in camera-to-cloud workflows. Sony’s Ci Media Cloud will natively integrate with Serv 4K and Prism Flex, Teradek’s 4K high dynamic range encoding systems. Now, any camera used on-set, in-studio, or remotely will be able to upload footage to Ci directly from Teradek’s encoders.

SMPTE, OSA Media Microservices Summit Begins May 11 in New York
